Job Summary
Keenu is looking for an Assistant Manager – KYC & CDD to oversee the end-to-end KYC and CDD lifecycle, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulations. This role involves supervising a team of analysts, managing complex escalations, and streamlining the onboarding and periodic review processes of both Merchant and Consumer Wallet.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform high-level quality assurance (QA) on KYC attended by analysts for both Consumer and Merchant Wallet.
- Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for Low, Medium & high-risk Wallets, including Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and those from high-risk jurisdictions.
- Evaluate the City and email address to ensure they align with the Consumer and Merchant profile.
- Supervise the clearing of Sanctions, Adverse Media, and PEP alerts (using tools like MSAASPRO, etc.).
- Manage a team of KYC analysts, providing guidance on complex cases and ensuring daily/monthly targets are met.
- Identify training gaps and conduct regular workshops on updated AML/KYC policies for the team.
- Allocate cases efficiently to ensure zero backlog in onboarding Complains and periodic reviews.
- Act as a bridge between the Analyst , Salesperson and Compliance team to resolve complex cases and issues.
- Prepare detailed summaries and recommendations for the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) or Senior Management regarding De-risking or suspicious cases.
- Maintain and present weekly/monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports on KYC progress, rejection rates, and bottlenecks.
- Suggest improvements to the KYC workflow to enhance the Customer Experience without compromising on regulatory standards.
Skills & Requirements
- 2–4 years relevant experience Onboarding, Account Opening, KYC/CDD Operations AML/KYC, with at least 1 year in a supervisory and Team Management role.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
- Proficiency in AML Screening tools and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset, eye for detail, and conflict resolution skills.
