Job Summary
Keenu is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, supporting UNIX/Linux environments, implementing robust security protocols, and ensuring high system availability.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, expertise in automation and scripting, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and management tools.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability.
- Practice and enforce robust security protocols and procedures to protect company systems.
- Contribute to the design and development of information and operational support systems.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual intervention time for repetitive tasks.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd-level technical support for escalated issues.
- Liaise with vendors and IT personnel to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with the development team to ensure seamless build deployments and consistent service availability.
- Plan and implement system upgrades to maintain and improve service levels.
- Execute disaster recovery (DR) tests as per the planned and agreed schedules.
- Monitor costs and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial efficiency.
Skills & Requirements
- 2+ years of experience supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.
