Account
Any Pakistani citizen above 18 years who has a mobile phone SIM issued by local network providers and has a valid NADRA CNIC or NICOP can register a Keenu account.
Signup your Keenu account by following these simple steps:
- First enter your Mobile Number
- Verify One Time Password (OTP)
- Enter your Name
- Enter your Email address
- Create Passcode
- Signup
No, only one Keenu account can be opened on a single CNIC/NICOP.
Transaction limits for Keenu are:

You can increase your transaction limits by upgrading your account through CNIC/NICOP verification and Biometric Verification.
Keenu wallet is an Electronic Money Institute regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan and requires customers’ information to verify them. This will assist Keenu in keeping your account safe and reducing the risk of financial fraud.
To perform biometric verification follow below steps:
- Visit a nearby Meezan Bank ATM along with your CNIC.
- On the ATM, select Biometric Service.
- Select Keenu.
- Click on Biometric verification.
- Enter your CNIC Number and Mobile Number registered with Keenu.
- Provide biometric impressions as asked by the ATM machine.

Your Keenu account will be dormant if no transaction is performed over the past 180 days ( 6 months).

Yes, you will receive a message and notification of all the transactions performed through your account. You can also view your entire transactions in the transaction history section in the App.
You can change your passcode by following the below steps:
- Go to menu
- Select settings
- Click on change passcode
- Set your new passcode
- And you are done!
You can view your Transaction History by clicking on the icon in the footer.
Yes, you can request money from the Move Money option.Your friend will be notified and can instantly share funds with you upon accepting your request.
- Click on ‘Move Money’ tab
- Select a Keenu user
- Enter amount
- Click on ‘Pay’ button
- You are done!
Don’t worry! During pending status, your identity and other information will be under review. Apart from this, please ensure that:
- Your mobile camera is functioning.
- Your selfie and CNIC picture is clear
- You provide the original CNIC picture. (Black and white CNIC will not be accepted)
To report lost/stolen devices, you can call 021-111-1KEENU(53368) or email us at [email protected], so that we can disable access from your devices. After reissuing your SIM install Keenu
app right away on your new device, and login with your registered mobile number and passcode. Since you have logged in using the new device, you will receive a One Time Password (OTP) to register your device.
My Money
Fund that is available in your Keenu
account is referred as My Money.
You can easily withdraw funds through Biometric Cash Withdrawal via Meezan Bank ATMs.
Follow the below steps for cash withdrawal:
- Visit a nearby Meezan Bank ATM along with your CNIC.
- On the ATM, select Biometric Service.
- Select Keenu
- Select Cash Withdrawal
- Enter your CNIC Number and Mobile Number registered with Keenu .
- Enter the desired fund for withdrawal.
- Provide biometric impressions as asked by the ATM machine.
- The amount will be dispensed.
Keenu
funds can be used for payments such as:
- Bill payments and Mobile top ups
- Ecommerce (Online payments)
- Gift vouchers such as Netflix, iTunes, PlayStation, and etc.
- Group payments
- P2P transactions
Add Money
You can deposit funds into Keenu
account through:
- Interbank Fund Transfer (IBFT)
- Cash deposit via Meezan Bank branches
- Visit nearby Meezan Bank branch
- Fill deposit slip
- Submit the deposit slip with cash to the cashier
Move Money
You can transfer your money in two ways:
- Pay to Keenu users
- IBFT
The process is very simple and it is as follows:
- Click on ‘Move Money’ tab
- Select a Keenu user
- Enter amount
- Click on ‘Pay’ button
- You are done!
Signup your Keenu
account by following these simple steps:
- Go to menu or Add Money
- Enter your Bank Account Number or IBAN
- Your account will be linked
Note: You can make your bank account visible with your friends for easy fund transfer to your Bank Account directly.
Online Payments
Keenu
is accepted on Online Stores in Pakistan that are listed as our merchants, so relieve yourself from the hassle of Cash on Delivery by paying online with Keenu
account.
Paying with Keenu
on Online Stores is very easy and convenient. Just follow the following simple steps:
- Visit the online store
- Place your order
- Select “Keenu” as your payment option
- Select “Keenu Wallet”
- Enter your registered mobile number and passcode
- Enter OTP received on your registered mobile number
- Your payment is completed!
Bill Payments
The simple process of Bill Payments is as follows:
- Go to “Mobile and Bill Payment”
- Select the “Bill Payment” option
- Select Bill Type, Bill Company, and enter consumer number
- Click on “Next” to pay
- Your Bill is paid!
The bill paid through Keenu
will be cleared at that very moment. If it still doesn’t clear out, please contact Keenu
customer care on 021-111-1KEENU(53368)
No worries! Your bill will be cleared on the same day, however it may take some time to update the utility provider’s system.
You can easily recharge your mobile number by:
- Go to “Mobile and Bill Payment”
- Select the “Mobile Top up” option
- Select Network Type and Service Type
- Enter Mobile Number and Amount
- Click on “Next”
- Your number is recharged!
Groups
- Click Groups in the Home Page
- Select (+)
- Select members from your contact list
- Enter group details and amount to be collected
- Click on “Create”
- The group is created!
You need to be a CNIC/Biometric verified customer, to collect the funds in the Group.
