Risk Manager

Job Summary

Keenu is looking for a proactive Risk Manager to lead the identification, assessment, and management of risks across the organization. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining risk frameworks, advising business units, and ensuring effective risk governance. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to embed a strong risk culture and support strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor key risks (financial, operational, strategic, compliance, and reputational) across business units.
  • Establish and maintain risk registers, control inventories, and governance structures to support effective risk oversight.
  • Lead risk assessment processes (e.g., risk and control self-assessments) and evaluate control effectiveness.
  • Provide independent review and challenge of risk exposures, mitigation plans, and business decisions.
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), trends, and emerging risks, and escalate issues to senior management where necessary.
  • Prepare and present risk reports, dashboards, and insights for senior management, committees, and board-level forums.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., compliance, audit, finance, and operations) to ensure integrated risk management practices.
  • Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation planning for risk events.
  • Drive risk awareness, training, and a strong risk culture across the organization.
  • Support regulatory interactions, audits, and compliance reviews as required.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000, Basel).
  • Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, or CRISC are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess complex risk scenarios.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and risk tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion.
