Job Summary
Keenu is looking for an Intermediate Mobile Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in native Android development and payment-related systems, with a strong understanding of secure communication, API integrations, and clean coding practices.
This role offers an opportunity to work on real-world fintech solutions and contribute to the evolution of digital payments in Pakistan.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android applications using Android SDK, Java/Kotlin, Android Studio, and Android architecture components.
- Implement and manage ISO-8583 message handling, including message construction. parsing, modification, and support for multiple transaction types.
- Build secure socket-based communication between mobile/POS applications and backend systems, managing connections, data transmission, timeouts, errors, and TLS/SSL.
- Use Git efficiently for code management and collaboration.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Integrate third-party APIs such as payment gateways, loyalty programs, and inventory systems, ensuring smooth data exchange and error handling.
- Research emerging mobile technologies, tools, and trends, recommending and integrating new solutions as appropriate.
Skills & Requirements
- 3+ years of experience.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working as a Mobile Developer with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patters.
