Job Summary
Keenu is looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in native Android development and payment-related systems, with a strong understanding of secure communication, API integrations, and clean coding practices.
This role offers an opportunity to work on real-world fintech solutions and contribute to the evolution of digital payments in Pakistan.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android applications using Android SDK, Java/Kotlin, Android Studio, and Android architecture components.
- Implement and manage ISO-8583 message handling, including message construction, parsing, modification, and support for multiple transaction types.
- Perform socket programming to establish, maintain, and secure communication between POS devices and backend systems (including TLS/SSL).
- Integrate third-party APIs such as payment gateways, loyalty programs, and inventory systems, ensuring smooth data exchange and error handling.
- Optimize POS application performance with efficient UI design, resource usage, and responsiveness across various Android devices.
- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and oversight on best practices and coding standards.
- Work closely with the Product Development team to plan, design, and implement new features and enhancements.Research emerging mobile technologies, tools, and trends, recommending and integrating new solutions as appropriate.
Skills & Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Extensive experience as a Mobile Developer with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and guiding development teams.
