Job Summary
Keenu is looking for a Social Media & Communication Specialist to plan, create, and manage engaging digital content across social platforms, including short-form videos and visual media. The role involves content production, event coverage, and performance tracking to enhance brand presence and audience engagement.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and manage social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Create engaging short-form video content (reels, shorts, stories).
- Shoot high-quality photos and videos using phone or camera.
- Edit videos with strong pacing, hooks, captions, and trends in mind.
- Write clear, engaging captions, hooks, and on-screen text.
- Maintain content calendars and ensure timely posting.
- Cover events, workshops, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Work closely with the creative, design, and marketing teams to align content with brand voice.
- Track performance and optimize content based on engagement and reach.
Skills & Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in social media content creation, videography, or digital communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Design, or a related field.
- Strong videography and video editing skills with a keen eye for storytelling, composition, lighting, and framing.
- Proficiency in short-form video editing and quick turnaround content creation.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy suitable for different social media platforms.
- Basic design skills with tools such as Canva and an understanding of layouts and templates.
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools, including Instagram and LinkedIn insights.
