Job Summary

Keenu is looking for a Social Media & Communication Specialist to plan, create, and manage engaging digital content across social platforms, including short-form videos and visual media. The role involves content production, event coverage, and performance tracking to enhance brand presence and audience engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Create engaging short-form video content (reels, shorts, stories).
  • Shoot high-quality photos and videos using phone or camera.
  • Edit videos with strong pacing, hooks, captions, and trends in mind.
  • Write clear, engaging captions, hooks, and on-screen text.
  • Maintain content calendars and ensure timely posting.
  • Cover events, workshops, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Work closely with the creative, design, and marketing teams to align content with brand voice.
  • Track performance and optimize content based on engagement and reach.

Skills & Requirements

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in social media content creation, videography, or digital communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Design, or a related field.
  • Strong videography and video editing skills with a keen eye for storytelling, composition, lighting, and framing.
  • Proficiency in short-form video editing and quick turnaround content creation.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy suitable for different social media platforms.
  • Basic design skills with tools such as Canva and an understanding of layouts and templates.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools, including Instagram and LinkedIn insights.
